- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
