  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add onions, carrots, potatoes, and celery. Cook until the vegetables begin to soften.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and add the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and thyme.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
