  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the rice and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
  5. Simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  6. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
