Stuffed Pepper Soup

A comforting and hearty soup that combines the flavors of stuffed peppers with the heartiness of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 2 cups bell peppers, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the chicken ham and sauté with onion and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and add diced tomatoes.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked turkey bacon to the pot just before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add Italian seasoning.
  • Feel free to use any color bell peppers based on your preference.
