- 1 pound flank steak
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup queso cheese dip
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the flank steak with chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Remove steak from the skillet and allow to rest, then slice thinly.
- In the same skillet, add white rice and toast for 1-2 minutes.
- Add beef broth to the rice, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover until rice is cooked.
