  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add molasses and egg, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are firm.
  8. Let cool before glazing.

Notes

  • For a thicker glaze, add more powdered sugar to the maple syrup until desired consistency.
