Slow Cooker Steak and Cheddar Potato Casserole

A hearty and flavorful casserole perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds steak, cut into cubes
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Brown the steak cubes in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Layer the potatoes and onions in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the browned steak on top of the potatoes and onions.
  4. Mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl, then pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle the cheese on top and cover until melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
