- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 9 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, stir in the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese until melted and combined.
- Serve hot, topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
