  • 1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls)
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (cashews, almonds)
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Soak the sabudana in water for 2-3 hours until they are soft.
  2. In a pan, heat ghee and add the soaked sabudana.
  3. Add milk and bring it to a boil while stirring continuously.
  4. Add sugar and cardamom powder; mix well.
  5. Cook until the kheer thickens, then add chopped nuts and raisins.
  6. Serve warm or chilled.
