Potato Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the potatoes, corn, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the cream and seasonings. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Top with chopped turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
