One Pot Jambalaya

A delicious and easy one pot jambalaya recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the pot and sauté.
  3. Stir in the chicken ham and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add rice, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and Cajun seasoning. Stir well.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook until rice is tender.
  6. Return the turkey bacon to the pot, stir, and serve.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
  • Can substitute chicken ham with regular ham for a different flavor.
