Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles are a quick and tasty weeknight dinner option that your family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and brown sugar, mixing well.
  5. Add the broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes, until it’s tender.
  6. Toss the cooked egg noodles in with the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

  • This dish is best served immediately, but can be enjoyed as leftovers.
  • Feel free to add any other vegetables you like, such as bell peppers or carrots.
