- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 batch green frosting
- 1 batch black edible glitter
- 12 chocolate wafer cookies
- 12 candy corn
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oil, vanilla, buttermilk, and eggs. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
