  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in sugar and butter.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt, then gradually add flour until combined.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  6. Pour half the banana batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Spread cream cheese mixture over the batter.
  8. Pour the remaining banana batter on top.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before slicing.
