French Onion Butter Rice

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add butter and onions. Sauté until onions are caramelized.
  3. Add rice to the skillet and stir to coat with the butter and onions.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer until rice is cooked through.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the cooked bacon. Serve warm.
