- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until combined.
- Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until cooked through.
- While meatballs are baking, sauté chopped turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- Once meatballs are done, toss them with sautéed turkey bacon before serving.
Notes
