Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Pasta

A delightful creamy pasta dish featuring turkey bacon and mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic and mushrooms until tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and turkey bacon. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat pasta.
  • You can substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
