  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and crushed tomatoes; stir to combine.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; cook on medium heat until simmering.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add cooked pasta and crumbled bacon to the sauce; mix well.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon.
