Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

A delicious recipe combining creamy pasta with Cajun spices and turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
  4. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Mix in the cooked fettuccine and toss to coat.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning.
