  • 12 ounces penne pasta

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions and drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add the Cajun sausage and cook until browned.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then add the Cajun seasoning.
  7. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 5 minutes.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well.
  9. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
