- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 slices rye bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions until caramelized.
- Form the ground beef into patties, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing a patty on a slice of rye bread, top with turkey bacon and Swiss cheese, then add another slice of bread.
