  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. While the muffins are baking, make the glaze by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  8. Once muffins are cooled, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the top.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add chopped pecans or walnuts to the batter.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for an easier blending process.
