  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warmed milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon and chocolate chips, then roll up tightly.
  6. Slice the rolled dough and place the slices in a greased baking dish.
  7. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
