Calabrian Chili Roasted Red Pepper Pizza

A delicious pizza that combines the spicy heat of Calabrian chili with the sweetness of roasted red peppers.

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup Calabrian chili peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Stretch the pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  4. Evenly distribute the chopped Calabrian chili peppers and sliced roasted red peppers over the dough.
  5. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For more heat, add additional Calabrian chili peppers to taste.
  • Feel free to add other toppings such as onions or olives if desired.
