Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and honey.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
