Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket

Deliciously easy recipe for breakfast pigs in a blanket made with turkey bacon and beef.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Roll the beef mixture into small logs.
  4. Wrap each log with a slice of turkey bacon.
  5. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into triangles.
  6. Place each bacon-wrapped log on a triangle of dough and roll it up.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake according to dough package instructions until golden brown.
  8. If using, sprinkle cheese on top during the last few minutes of baking.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef before rolling.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
