- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add the warm water and stir until combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest for 12 to 18 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
- Carefully transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
- Place the dough in a parchment-lined bowl and cover it for another 30 minutes.
- Once preheated, remove the Dutch oven and carefully place the dough inside, removing the parchment paper.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For a crustier bread, bake longer without the lid after the first 30 minutes.
