  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and stir until combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest for 12 to 18 hours at room temperature.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. Carefully transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  6. Place the dough in a parchment-lined bowl and cover it for another 30 minutes.
  7. Once preheated, remove the Dutch oven and carefully place the dough inside, removing the parchment paper.
  8. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • For a crustier bread, bake longer without the lid after the first 30 minutes.
